Library and Learning Centre
Winning design entry for a new building for the University of Economics & Business Vienna, Austria.
Uniting all the key functions of study in a unique way, the Library and Learning Center will be more than just library in the traditional sense, but it’ll be a multifunctional structure that will cater different groups simultaneously. It will be a research and a service facility, a workplace and lounge, a place of communication and a traffic hub, in addition to the new library.

New Holland Island
Under construction in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The New Holland Island Redevelopment will provide the triangular shaped self-sustaining island in St Petersburg with 7.6-hectares of mixed-use cultural development. The scheme will include an indoor theatre, conference facilities, galleries, a hotel, shops, apartments and restaurants, with a flexible outdoor arena at its heart.

Lilium Tower
Winning design for a new skyscraper in Warsaw, Poland.
The shape of the tower is aimed to resemble a lily flower in order to commemorate the developer - Lilium. The top floor of the skyscraper will house a spa with the highest located swimming pool in Warsaw.
The first underground level will be connected to the Warsaw Central Railway Station underground passage system

Madrid Civil Courts of Justice
In planning for Madrid, Spain.
The facade is made of metallic panels made of moving components that will respond to the environment by opening and closing. Heating, cooling and ventilation will all be moderated and controlled through the intelligent façade.
On the roof, the metal panels will include integrated photovolactic cells.

Nuragic & Contemporary Art Museum
Winning desing entry for a new museum in Cagliari, Italy.
The museum will comprise exhibition spaces, a library, a congress hall, offices and retail space and will be dedicated to Nuragic and contemporary art. Works from Sardinia and the Mediterranean will be displayed.

Winning competition entry for Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Located directly adjacent to the former capitol building of The Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic Square project is the major component of large-scale, city-wide development.

Sky Village
Winning competition entry for a new skyscraper in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The concept comprises different types of uses (Hotel, Office, Retail, Residential). The hotel will be situated on the top. The tower features terraces on all levels.
The design of the tower allows daylight to fall deep into the building.

U2 Tower
Approved project for Dublin, Ireland. Site preparation has begun. Project on hold as of Oct. 31st, 2008.
The project has undergone several design changes. Winner of the competition in 2003 was BCDH with a 100m high twisted tower.
The winning design from the 2007 competition comes from Foster & Partners. It features a 120m tower with a proposed "Energy Center" on top that would bring it to a total of 180m. The "Energy Center" would contain wind turbines and solar panels.
The tower will have a public viewing platform. A recording studio for U2 is planned for the top of the tower.

Set on a hilltop, designed to blend in with the surrounding area so that most of the site will remain in its natural condition. Atria are helping to distribute light through the building. Will feature a rooftop restaurant and viewing platform

Full Moon Hotel
Under construction in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan.
One of two designs inspired by the moon. Part of Baku Boulevard Masterplan. Will feature a luxury hotel and residences. Acts as a counterpoint to Crescent hotel (see below).
The building is shaped like a disc with a prominent hole in the upper corner (making it appear like the Death Star from Star Wars) and sits on a wavy podium that contains apartment blocks on each sides. The surface is covered by hexagonal honeycombs on the back and has a glass diagrid on the front.

Crescent Hotel
Approved project for Baku, capital of Azerbaijan.

Stands as a curved arch resembling a crescent moon. The structure is supported by two inner columns.

La Ciudad del Motor - Motor City
Winning entry for the leisure and culture zone of a new motor sports center in Aragon, Spain. The complex will be carbon-neutral. The roof contains photovoltaic cells and solar thermal tubes on its surface, additional energy is generated with wind turbines.
The design is inspired by sleek aerodynamic aesthetic of racing cars.
Preparation on-site has begun.
